there is no money to make in the OS market - this is why google jumps in / business model is not selling bits but seconds of attention
oh and copy me right here, M$ make money with OS because they own a monopoly - so far
I find all these pictures of Sales/BizDev people smiling as if some animal was trying to investigate their bottom, utterly depressing
the most interesting part of Chrome OS is that it will be open sourced - this is game changing and establishes a new paradigm for PCs
soon BIOS will merge with Linux kernel and fight will move upstream in network protocols management and interfaces (2 things M$ is bad at)

btw I’m stunned at iPhone OS 3.0 capabilities, wishing Apple being a bit less opaque about it
